Lewis County Overview
Lewis County Jail Roster
The Lewis County Jail Roster is the main public source for Lewis County booking releases. The roster page states that scheduled release dates are subject to change. The Lewis County Jail tries to provide the most accurate info available, but the jail provides no guarantee of full accuracy. Staff will not answer questions about release times or further details on release dates. Check the Completed Release tab to see if someone has been released within the last 24 hours. Inmates can ask for and receive their release info and then inform their friends and family. An asterisk on the Release Calendar means an inmate may have more than one charge.
General release times range from 0530 to 2000 hours. The active roster displays each inmate's name, a register link, booking date and time, arrest date, arresting agency, court, billing agency, bond type, bond amount, warrant or citation number, and charge description. Arresting agencies listed include LCSO (Lewis County Sheriff's Office), CENT (Centralia Police), CHEH (Chehalis Police), WASH (Washington State Patrol), and DOC. Court codes include SUP (Superior Court), LCD (Lewis County District), CSM (Chehalis Municipal), CNM (Centralia Municipal), and OSC. Bond types shown include Cash or Bond, No Bail, Serving Time, Released by Court, Included, Transferred to Prison, Appearance Bond, and Released Time Served. The roster lists multiple charges per inmate, with individual bond amounts and warrant numbers for each charge.
Visit the Lewis County Jail Roster page and the active roster. We use a state-level image below since the local roster image was not captured.
State law under RCW 70.48.100 opens the live jail register to the public, which is what makes this Lewis County roster page possible.
Note: Release info is dynamic, so always confirm with the jail before relying on the schedule for travel or pickup.

The Corrections Bureau encompasses the Lewis County Jail. The jail was remodeled in 2005 and is approximately 69,000 square feet. The Corrections Bureau is staffed by a Captain, a Lieutenant, six Sergeants, forty-one Corrections Deputies, an Administrative Assistant, and five Support Technicians. The Administrative Division includes a Classification Deputy who reviews risk scores and criminal history to ensure appropriate housing, plus six Support Technicians who handle record entry, warrants, protection orders, visitation, medical billing, and commissary. Public Records Act and Lewis County
Public records in Lewis County are governed by the Public Records Act, RCW 42.56, and pertain to records prepared, owned, used, or retained by any department or office of Lewis County government, excluding the courts. The Public Records Officer is Casey Mauermann, Public Disclosure Manager, with Cherish Willis as Public Records Specialist. Lewis County uses a web-based Records Center for submission, tracking, and delivery of records requests. The portal can be used to submit a request, track status, and download responsive records.
Under Washington law, the County Clerk's Office, as part of the judiciary, is not subject to the Public Records Act. Court records should be requested directly from Lewis County Superior Court or Lewis County District Court. Lewis County agencies are required to make records available for inspection and copying. Visit the Lewis County Public Records page.
Inmate Commissary and Funds
The Lewis County Jail uses a new commissary vendor and inmate financial system. Friends and family can go to jailatm.com to put money on a loved one's account. The jailatm.com helpline is 870-627-5476. You will need to make an account to place money on an inmate's account. Once signed in, select Send Money Now, choose the state and facility, enter at least three characters of the resident's last name or their ID, enter payment information, and confirm. Deposits can be made using Visa or MasterCard.
If an inmate has medical fees or debt from a prior incarceration, 80 percent of incoming funds will be taken to recover those costs until the balance is paid. Upon release, any remaining balance on the commissary account is kept to satisfy debt. Unpaid debt remaining after incarceration can be turned over to a collection agency. Inmate accounts cannot be discussed with the public. Visit the Lewis County inmate commissary page.
